Before you Make the Decision to get Fat

Before you go through the process of gaining body fat make sure it is really what you want. As you probably know obesity is an epidemic which is sweeping the globe.

Obesity can lead to a wide variety of unhealthy and life threatening problems such as, adult onset diabetes,  hyperlipidemia, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, heart disease, skin disease, joint problems, liver disease, gall stones, lower libido and depression to name a few.

You say you do not want to gain muscle but keep in mind that everyone who lifts weights will not become muscular like a bodybuilder. Lifting weights is a healthy part of any lifestyle and could help you gain weight more quickly and adding a bit of muscle in addition to body fat from overeating. In turn, weight training while you attempt to get fat will make it easier to lose the weight in the future if you decide you don't want to be fat any more.

How to Get Fat Quick:  Learn the Basic Science of Weight GainCaloric Balance

Your body weight will remain the same if you eat as many calories as you consume via drinking and eating.

This is the most important thing to know if you want to know how to get fat quick. In order to get fat you must consume more calories than you burn.

The calories you burn in a day includes your resting metabolism which is the sum of all your body's processes such as breathing and digesting food as well as your activity calories from exercise and activities of daily living (i.e. washing the dishes, cleaning your room).

You can determine how many calories you burn daily by using formulas which you an find online. A pound of fat translates to an excess of 3500 calories so to gain a pound of fat you must eat/drink 3500 more calories than you burn in order to gain a pound of fat. Using this example, in order to gain 20 pounds of fat you must over consume a whopping 70,000 excess calories.

How to Get Fat Quick:  Learn from Sumo WrestlersSumo

Sumo wrestlers from Japan are one of the fattest athletes in the world. They know how to get fat quick because they are part of an ancient tradition.

But how do traditionally skinny Japanese people gain so much weight?

Sumo wrestlers not only eat a very high level of calories every day, they deliberately slow down their metabolisms. They do this by practicing the same poor eating habits which obese people all over the world trying to lose weight typically have.

There are 2 reasons why sumo wrestlers skip breakfast and exercise on an empty stomach.

The first reason is because over time, constantly skipping breakfast will slow down their metabolism because their body goes in to "starvation mode" trying to conserve their body fat. The second reason is because after an exercise session and a workout, the sumo wrestlers get ravenously hungry and are able to eat larger meals.

Another habit which helps sumo wrestlers get fat is eating with others. Sumos consume most of their meals with a lot of beer and low fiber, calorically dense foods at the training table with their stable mates.

Sumo wrestlers know how to get fat and use the final and likely most important habit of sleeping after their giant meals. Sumo wrestlers will often take a 4 hour nap after gorging themselves after training and always eat super huge meals before bed. The combination of eating large, slowly digesting meals and sleep slows their metabolism down so these people who are likely naturally skinny can become morbidly obese.
